Day/Night Mobile Vehicle Mount PTZ Camera System

The E-PATROLCCTV is a ruggedised pan and tilt zoom camera system for all-weather-use. It is ideal for police operations, covert surveillance or military use. It is able to enhances the users vision of the outside world and can operate on fixed or mobile platforms.

The camera portion consists of a 12VDC pan/tilt motorised platform with day/night zoom camera and RS232 control interface. New motors have been fitted to the unit allowing stealthy silent operation. For control, the system is provided with a rugged controller unit which has a 3-axis joystick and 5.6″ TFT LCD Monitor. A single cable connection connects the camera and display/control unit ensuring easy installation. A version of the camera is also available as an option featuring the industry standard Pelco-D serial protocol.

Other features include inertial stabilization for mobile use, a quick disconnect mounting system for roof racks and a near-infra-red filter for day/night operation modes. The image stabilization feature ensures a clear and jitter free video picture when the vehicle is on the move or in pursuit of a subject.

CONSTRUCTION

Constructed of solid aluminium, stainless steel, rubber and glass, the E-PATROLCCTV system is virtually indestructible. For low light operation, the camera can be supplied with a high-intensity halogen NIR beam lamp which works in conjunction with the NIR camera filter.
