316 Stainless Steel Exd Camera Housing

The E-MHX is a 316 stainless steel camera housing for hazardous area monitoring. It is suitable for mining, petro-chemical and marine applications. Manufactured entirely of 316 stainlesss steel it is electro-plated and designed to resist the elements found in these environments. Precision machining provides the user with a robust product made to last. It is designed to accomodate standard sized cs mount box cameras rated upto 13W.

EXPLOSIVE PROOF FOR HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS
 
Designed specially for use in hazardous zone 1 or 2 exd environments, the E-MHX has ATEX and IECEx certification. We are also able to provide suitable certification for use in South Africa.
 
STANDARD FEATURES
 
Standard features include a heater which is available in 230VAC or 24VAC and a sunshield.
OPTIONAL FEATURES
 
An optional wiper is available to order with the housing. This comes included with a controller board which can be controlled over a RS485 signal or via a N/O contact. Another option is the fitment of a Sony 10x Camera module.
CABLE GLAND OPTIONS
The housing can be ordered with a variety of different cable gland options depending on the application. This includes a barrier type (zone 1 or 2) or a gasket (zone 2), as well as options for armored or non-armored cable in a variety of dimensions. Please check with us when ordering.
