RECORDING
Designed for stand-alone applications, the unit is activated by a hidden button which starts the video/audio recording. The battery is able to provide recording for up to 165 minutes with the WiFi radio set to on or 180 minutes with the WiFi radio transceiver off. All recordings are made to a microSD card which can be removed for playback using a standard video player such as media player or VLC. Alternatively the unit can be connected via it’s USB port to a PC for review of the video footage or still images. Charging of the unit also takes place via this USB port. All video is overlayed with time/date info.
WIFI RADIO TRANSCEIVER
This new model features an integrated WiFi radio transceiver. With this, users can monitor the device from a short distance from a smartphone and/or tablet. Apple and Android devices are support and software features include live monitoring, snapshots and device configuration.
