The E-EXPT is an Exd / Atex certified motorised Pan/Tilt unit with camera housing. Designed to operate in hazardous industrial environments, the E-EXPT has SABS certification and has been used extensively in the petro-chemical industry in South Africa.

An innovative feature of the E-EXPT is the absence of external wiring rotating between the pan/tilt motor and the camera housing. This solution simplifies the installation and the maintenance of the unit. A single multi-core cable, ready wired up, included with the unit, comes out of the base of the pan/tilt through a cable gland.
The housing can accomodate a variety of C/CS mount camera + zoom lens combinations. The unit also provides 20Watts of 24VAC power for the camera to be fitted.
CONSTRUCTION
The product itself is manufactured with a high grade Anticorodal die-cast alloy, while all external componets are stove enamelled using special coatings which provide resistance to UV rays, salt spray and environment polluting substances. The bracket is similiarly constructed and can support a maximum non-static weight of 100kg.
