The project was successfully completed in 2017.
Waterway House is British American Tobacco’s (BATSA) new Cape Town head office. Spread over four floors of prime office space in the heart of the V&A Waterfront. This was an exciting security project with a tight deadline.
Our scope of work included the design, supply and integration of the Access Control, Security Intercom & CCTV Video Surveillance Systems. As well as project management, CCTV training and the manufacture of custom security metal work.
In terms of systems, this work include the installation of an Impro Access Control System using biometric fingerprint readers and RFID access control readers linked to Automated Sliding Doors, Turnstar Speed Turnstiles and Full Height Turnstyles.
An Avigilon IP Hi-Definition camera CCTV surveillance system protects the site and provides key coverage around the building.
