IP Access Control & IP Intercom Hardware
2N produces a premium range of IP access control and IP intercom hardware. This product range includes stand-alone IP access control readers with RFID, keypad, Bluetooth or a combination of credentials such as keypad/RFID. These readers provide true access control at the edge and are powered via a PoE network switch or 12VDC power supply. The elegant intercom range is ideal for luxury houses, apartment blocks or estates. They can be fitted with programmable touch screen displays, vandal resistant keypads and RFID readers. For inside apartments or houses, 2N have a range of compact touchscreen display PoE powered intercom receivers.
IP Access Controllers, IO Relay Units & IP Intercoms
Axis Communications, the original manufacturer of the IP CCTV camera also produces an excellent range of IP access control hardware for security or communication installations. These IP network products include access controllers with onboard storage, wiegand reader connections and input/output controls. They also produce IP relay and I/O modules for applications such as vehicle boom control. As well as IP intercoms for security screening and visitor communication. The IP intercoms feature support for the Axis ACAP protocol which allows embedded applications to be run directly on the device.
IP Biometric Access Control Readers
Idemia (formally Sagem / Morpho) produce a range of bio-metric IP network products for access control applications. These include traditional fingerprint bio-metric readers such as the Sigma-Lite, as well as the new MorphoWave device for contactless fingerprint recognition. The VisionPass is the latest addition to the product range and features infra-red 2D/3D cameras for facial recognition bio-metric access control. All products feature Wiegand reader connections as well as onboard I/O for stand-alone applications. As an optional feature these IP units can be fitted with a Mifare or Desfire integrated card reader.

Access Control Locks & Door Hardware
Assa Abloy is a specialist manufacturer of access control hardware. They produce a wide range of access control physical hardware including magnetic door locks, electro-mechanical locks, striker locks and traditional hotel door locks. The shear-lock is a special magnetic door lock for bi-directional doors which need to open or swing in both directions. They also have automatic door openers, door-closers, floor springs and access control door loops for access control wiring.

The new Turnstar velocity vehicle boom is a third generation vehicle barrier and features red/green LED indicators on the boom arm, integrated loop detectors, battery backup, high speed DC motors, relay outputs for raised and lowered positions, as well as an embedded controller for boom operations.
