OUR STORY

Eagle was started in South Africa in 1938 by Mr Harry Bearman who arrived from London looking for a warm & healthy climate to Live.

With Sarah Bearman & Nathan (Nat) Bearman his brother, they established a successful lighting and electrical supply business in Hout Street in Cape Town's CBD. This business was famous throughout the country for supplying unique high quality products with excellent service.

His son Alan Bearman, an electronics engineer then went on to start the electronics division some fifty years ago

An R&D department was started and the company went onto to produce some of South Africa's first Computer Terminals, as well as a host of Industrial Data Acquisition and Control products for Science, Universities, Industrial Production and Military Industries.

Nathan Bearman joined the business in 1994 and continues the tradition of good customer service and quality products. specialising in the Design, Supply & Implementation of security & electronic solutions.

Our area of expertise covers all forms of electronic security technology such as access control, CCTV video surveillance, visitor management systems, intrusion detection systems and covert audio/video equipment.
